Last Saturday I witnessed two amazing people commit themselves to each other, and it was so perfect. The fall weather made for an awesome wedding day for Brad and Angela at Flint Hill. I met these two at their engagement session last spring, so was super excited to share their day with them. They decided to do a 'first look' before the ceremony--my fave! Yesterday I met with Aisling for her senior session in the Newnan area. I was super excited about her shoot because the first part of her shoot she wanted to incorporate her horse, Georgia. Get ready for some twin cuteness. I had a blast with 16 month old twins, Caroline & Elizabeth last Friday. They each have their own sweet personality and had so much fun during the shoot. We ended the shoot with a little painting session, which they thoroughly enjoyed!

Brittany + Darrell | Atlanta Wedding

I just loved being part of Brittany and Darrell's big day. I've known Brittany for about 8 years now, and its been awesome seeing her become such an amazing person. Her and Darrell were so happy, and had a blast--it was so fun capturing their moments together. I so enjoyed this session for mom, Cathy. Cathy and her four daughters--Jessica, Ashley, Lauren, & Crystal--got together for sweet Parker's first birthday this weekend, and decided to do a mother/daughter/grandbaby session. Jessica has Carson & Parker, and Crystal has Mya & baby Clara. They don't live close together unfortunately, but I could tell they all have such an amazing bond. It was so neat for me, because I could see how special all these daughters were to Cathy and I have my own third sweet girl on the way in October, so this will be me in the future!!! :) Here are a few from their session.

Last Saturday morning, I met with the Ford family to take Parker's 1 year photos and some other pics of the family. I met his big brother Carson a couple years ago for his one year photos! The weather started out a bit gloomy, so we started out in Parker's room, where I found him to be a huge fan of Brutus Buckeye(!), and then head over to a cute farm in Duluth. I am so blessed to work with such awesome couples. A couple weeks ago, I went to Jekyll Island to capture the wedding celebration of Vanessa and Blake. Her mother played such a huge role in planning the day, and I think everything was beautifully done, from Vanessa's shoeless sandles, to the flowers, and to the ceremony and reception. Love, love, love my job! Had the best time with Christin & Tyler during their engagement shoot on Saturday. We did the first part of their pics at the Atlanta History Center, and the second at the Georgian Terrace hotel--where their reception will be next May! It's amazing how time flies. I've known little Dru's family for two years now! Its been such a pleasure to document his life and watch him grow. I haven't seen him since his 1 year portraits, and he has developed such a cute personality and quite the vocabulary too! I LOVE engagement shoots! I love even more when the couples are having so much fun together during the shoot--makes my job super easy! Brad and Angela were so great to work with, and I cannot wait for their wedding this October. Last year, Brad built up the courage to approach Angela and gave him his business card with contact info on it--and Angela still has it :), so we took a pic of them together with the card. This is what I LOVE about my job. Over three years ago, I took pictures of Renee's house to sell. Then I took pics of her and Joseph's engagement, and their wedding. I really enjoyed meeting the Vaughn's a couple weeks ago! We met in Flowery Branch in their beautiful neighborhood. Their children were wonderful--Madeleine is 3, Eli is 17 months, and Scarlett 7 months. Love their names! They were dressed so cute in green & pink (my fave's!), I decided not to do any black and white on the blog since they were so colorful! Loved that Julie (Mom) incorporated the colorful marshmallow lollipops. :) This will look like my family in a few months--family of five with a dog. ;) Can't wait!

About a year ago, I met with Adam and Kendall to do their engagement session--one of my favorites! Last Saturday, they tied the knot at Villa Christina and it was beautiful. This was the first time I have seen crazy sunglasses, neon hats, and glow sticks incorporated into a reception, and it added a very nice touch. ;) Kendall's serenade from the boys was by far the best I have seen, and Adam's slide into the garter removal was priceless. :) Congrats guys!

The evening of Oct 23, Jason and Becky tied the knot at Vecoma at the Yellow River. I can see why people get married here in fall--the trees were absolutely beautiful! I met Jason and Becky over a year ago, and could tell then, they would have a fun wedding--and it was that and more. Becky was stunning in her gown, and I think her dad gets the award for 'Best Father of the Bride Speech' ever--not a dry eye in the house. Congrats!

Watch out ladies! --Well the one year old's out there in about 15 years ;) Cohen is quite possibly the cutest boys ever, and I was so excited to take his pics! Jason and I are really good friends with his parents, Frank & Alicia. Over our vacation, they were kind enough to let us stay in their Tampa home for a couple days. Our last day we went to a gorgeous park in the bay area to catch Cohen doing what he does best--be a a silly, active boy! And no little boy shoot is complete without a couple sticks at the end. =)

It was so awesome being part of the welcoming crew for Aiden's arrival last night! Aiden Allan Price was born at 8:20pm, 9lbs 10oz, 20 inches long--he does NOT look like a newborn, LOL. He has cutest features--fuzzy blonde hair, killer lips, and most adorable nose. I could not be happier for Becca and Allan. You will make amazing parents! Thank you for having me part of this special time in your life, and allowing me to capture those first moments as a family!

Drew had a walk with the Lord a few weeks ago. He told Drew, Caroline was the woman to spend forever with.

Caroline has been waiting for this day...

During this walk, Drew found himself come across a white line. This line became a huge symbol of confirmation through the Lord and a future with Caroline.

Caroline doesn't know any of this yet.

Drew is hiding opposite side of me and Caroline. I tell her to walk away from me (slowly) to get some neat pics walking down the bridge.

When she turns around to face me, she sees Drew....

They had their ceremony and reception at the Allatoona Inn--an adorable bed & breakfast in Cartersville. Saturday, April 10th, was our first Pics in the Park! We plan to do this event a few times a year. It consists of a 30 minute mini photo session with prints. This Pics in the Park was held at Grant Park, right by the Atlanta Zoo. It was a gorgeous day!
